Sensei Xiao Zheng Completes Kyokushin’s 30-Man Fight

The International Karate Alliance KyokushinRyu proudly shares the achievement of Sensei Xiao Zheng, Branch Chief of Hangzhou, China, who successfully completed the demanding 30-Man Fight (San Ju Nin Kumite).

Currently in the country for a three-week Uchideshi training program under Shihan Phillip Moustache, Sensei Xiao joined a group of elite local Kyokushin Karatekas last Wednesday at the Young Lions Dojo in Belonie. In front of a large and energetic crowd, he demonstrated exceptional spirit, endurance, and determination—embodying the true “Spirit of Osu.”

The San Ju Nin Kumite is one of the most challenging tests in Kyokushin, requiring a practitioner to face 30 consecutive opponents in full-contact combat. Sensei Xiao’s successful completion of this test marks a significant milestone, not only for himself but also for the continued growth and strength of Kyokushin in the international community.

Notably, the last attempt at this grueling challenge took place in June of the previous year, undertaken by two local karatekas.

The International Karate Alliance KyokushinRyu congratulates Sensei Xiao Zheng on this remarkable accomplishment, reflecting the discipline, courage, and fighting spirit that define Kyokushin. Osu!
