The atmosphere in Mandalay was filled with focus, discipline, and determination as the IKAK Myanmar โ Mandalay Region successfully concluded its extensive โKata Polished Trainingโ program, bringing together senior practitioners from multiple dojos for advanced technical development and martial refinement.
Conducted across three intensive training sessions, the program emphasized precision, synchronization, and deeper understanding of traditional KyokushinRyu kata. The sessions covered a wide range of forms, beginning with the Taikkyoku Katas on April 26, followed by Pinan Sono Ichi to Go on May 3, and concluding on May 17 with advanced kata training featuring Yantsu, Tsukino, Gekksai Dai, Gekksai Sho, Saifa, along with Arbita Training.
The training was led by instructors who previously completed the prestigious IKAK Honbu Uchideshi Training, allowing participants to receive direct guidance based on high-level technical standards and authentic instruction.
Between 70 to 85 members participated throughout the program, including advanced practitioners holding the ranks of 1st Kyu, Shodan, Nidan, and Sandan. The strong turnout reflected the growing dedication of Myanmar Karateka toward technical excellence and continuous learning.
Representatives from ten dojos took part in the event:
Maha Chai Dojo, Tampawaddy Dojo, Aung Myay Mandalar Dojo, Motherโs House Dojo, The Alex Arena Dojo, CMTZ Dojo, Shihan Aung Myint Dojo, Tharzi Dojo, Paleik Dojo, and R Raw Jan Dojo.
