Kancho Jackie Chong has officially concluded an extraordinary week-long visit in China, highlighted by high-level training sessions, leadership activities, and one of the most demanding Dan Grading examinations conducted this year within the KyokushinRyu community.
The centerpiece of the visit was the highly anticipated Dan Grading examination, which extended close to nine hours and pushed candidates to their absolute limits. Far beyond physical endurance, the examination challenged spirit, discipline, mental focus, perseverance, and character.
Several candidates demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the grading and earned Kancho Jackie Chongโs immediate approval for promotion โ a recognition reserved for those who displayed outstanding preparation, determination, and true Kyokushin spirit under pressure.
In addition to the grading, Kancho Jackie Chong also led a special Black Belt Class attended by senior students, instructors, and branch representatives. The session focused on deeper technical understanding, advanced applications, and valuable insights aimed at strengthening both personal development and instructional quality.
The visit further reinforced the continuous growth and strong spirit of KyokushinRyu in China, where organizers, branch chiefs, instructors, and students worked together to ensure a successful and productive event.
Appreciation was also extended to all hosts, organizers, and participants for the warm hospitality, dedication, and passion shown throughout the entire program. The intensity and enthusiasm displayed during training reflected the commitment of the Chinese KyokushinRyu community toward continuous improvement and traditional full-contact karate development.
The visit marks another important step in strengthening international cooperation and technical development within the KyokushinRyu network.
