The International Karate Alliance KyokushinRyu (IKAK) proudly congratulates our branch, headed by Shihan Jie Yang, for delivering an outstanding performance at the Macau International Wushu Festival, earning prestigious honors and showcasing the strength of Kyokushin on the international stage.
Competing against talented athletes from different countries and disciplines, the branch demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Their remarkable campaign was highlighted by winning the Best Club Award, a recognition that reflects the collective effort, preparation, and excellence of the entire team.
Adding to the celebration, Yao Yuji of Kun Dojo received the Best Technique Award, becoming the only karate competitor to receive this special recognition during the tournament. The award is a testament to the high technical standard and precision that continue to define KyokushinRyu practitioners.
A team of eight athletes proudly represented the branch and delivered an impressive medal haul across both Kata and Kumite events. Their performance resulted in a total of 15 medals, consisting of 9 Gold, 5 Silver, and 1 Bronze, highlighting the consistency and competitive spirit of the team throughout the competition.
These achievements are the product of countless hours of training, disciplined preparation, and strong leadership.
